Wotlk: death knights, storyline was one of my favorites, the music was amazing (especially grizzly hills), ice trolls were really cool, Felt like Lich King had a presence everywhere, argent tournament was fun, scarlet crusade making a comeback by becoming the scarlet onslaught, visiting the spot where frostmourne was in Warcraft 3, death knights could tank or dps in any talent tree (theoretically lol), wrathgate cutscene, battle for the undercity, king of Stormwind is back, knowing how to tank every dungeon in WotLK, championing tabardsĬata: flying in Azeroth, new class combos, deathwing as big bad, seeing all the changes the cataclysm caused, Garrosh showing signs of being an honorable warchief in STM, firelands zone and raid, end time trio of dungeons, deathwing ruining Stormwind for a long time lol, deathwing randomly appearing in a zone and killing you by accident, the dungeons felt more challenging but still very fun, worgen were awesome and their starting zone experience was one of my favorites, twilight highlands was my favorite cata zone
WoD: Mission tables & garrisons catered to my barely logging in playstyle due to work so I don’t remember it as a terrible expansionĬlassic: I enjoyed doing 10 man BRS, Molten Core, ZG, AQ 20,Ony, never ending AV matches, Tarren Mill vs South Shore, dueling outside Ironforge (back when it was more popular than Stormwind), exploring the dancing troll village, exploring hyjal before it was finished, the epic questline for the Paladin Mount, racing against the clock to stop Rivendare from executing the civilian, having the mallet to summon the extra boss in ZF, knowing the full layout of Sunken Temple and leading my group through it, turning my lightforge into soulforge armor, two handed enhancement shamans, never getting any loot from my guild raids because of stupid dkp system lol.īurning Crusade: flying for the first time, brand new abilities to play with, switching to a blood elf Paladin to play on my favorite faction, playing eye of the storm, getting so confused during the chessboard Boss event, isle of quel danis was an amazing fun hub area, blood elf starting area was beautiful and rich in lore, being so surprised that Illidan was not the final boss of the expansion, but actually KJ, trying to unlock all the keys for all the heroic dungeons, arenas were fun, getting killed by a fel reaver in hellfire, Halaa pvp fighting in Nagrand,, Zul’jin ( my favorite wow character) is back as a boss for ZA, seal of blood vs seal of martyr I farmed them lots for gold/profession purposes and got all the mounts off the warbringers solo as a blood dk (and each took around 10 minutes to solo IF I didn’t get feared too far away they reset) MoP: I really liked farming rares in Pandaria. WotLK: affliction warlock pvp in Wintergrasp/rolling all plate classes then taking the titanium nodes they were trying to hitĬata: fire mage pvp in general / Tol Barad stalking a night elf balance druid on my server I hated We took it and held it from like 6 alliance as 2 healers
Favorite memory of that is myself and a close friend taking the mine in AB as my holy pally/his disc priest.
Big luls hitting opposing faction with curse of recklessness so they were immune to fear and wrecked our priest healers who couldn’t scream them awayīC: affliction warlock pvp in Halaa/rolling arms warriors with chain fears.
